Shields Valley Schools epitomizes small-town Montana living at it’s best. With the elementary in Wilsall, and the junior high and high school in Clyde Park, both communities are supportive, dedicated, and involved in whatever is going on with Shields Valley activities and the students.
Clyde Park, located about 25 miles and 25 minutes northwest of Livingston, MT, has approximately 300 residents. Wilsall is situated eight miles north and has about 200 residents.
The Shields Valley area is near and dear to all residents and boasts some of the best fly fishing areas in the state. Within a fifty-mile range one can find Montana State University, the Bridger Bowl Ski area, the Bozeman/Yellowstone International at Gallatin Field airport, as well as the towns of Livingston and Bozeman. Surrounding the Valley are the Bridger, Crazy and Absarokee Mountain Ranges. The scenery, sunsets, and wildlife combine to make this one of the most majestic parts of Montana.
Yellowstone National Park is 75 miles to the south on Highway 89.
